Survivor NICARAGUA: Outwit. Outlast. Outplay.

As some of you may already know, the popular TV show “Survivor” filmed two seasons right here in San Juan Del Sur, Nicaragua! With the show already airing on CBS , the tourists are flocking into the local bars to check out the show weekly! As we watch the first episodes, it's been hard to see all the firing waves go unridden in the background! We have high hopes the show will portray the country and our town in the positive light it deserves. We're expecting a surge of publicity and tourism to come through our wonderful little town, providing a valuable and much-needed income infusion to the town, restaurants, fisheries and local businesses as a result. Be sure and let us know what you think of the way “Survivor’” portrays Nicaragua on our BLOG . We're all excited to see! New Brands, New Blog, New Happenings!

With the expansion of our website with the new BLOG and STAFF bio/photo page we can now keep you in the loop with ChicaBrava news, testimonials, pictures and more! Check out our website here to see all the new happenings! This year ChicaBrava attended the ASR (Action Sports Retailer) trade show in San diego CA. We were able to see all the new up and comings of the Surf Industry for Spring 2011, which included surfboards, swimwear, clothing and accessories! With the store front in San Juan Del Sur being open for a little over a year now, our team decided to expand our offerings and bring in the top dogs of women’s clothing! We are excited to announce we will plan to feature Billabong, Roxy, Ripcurl clothing/swimwear/accessories and Kustom footwear! These new items will be up for sale in the store by the end of January, so if your in town stop by and check out the best of the best!! We are really excited in building new relationships with these brands and branching out to bring San Juan Del Sur into the surf culture!
